Camping with my family!

Have you went camping?

I went to Waipu Cove Camp with my family in the holidays.
At the camp's main building we had to rent how long we will stay.

Our camp ground number was 71, then my family and I went to the camp ground labelled 71 and we parked there.
We built our tent then we prepared the air-beds. After that we had food to eat and water to drink. When it got dark we brushed our teeth before going to sleep when a storm happened.

 In the morning, we woke up in  and the the storm has left. Mum prepared the food while I woke my sisters up. Next we had to prepare for the beach then we walked there. The beach was really hot and I picked up some shells for my mum. I asked her permission so I can go to the water.

She said "Yes!" but my sister had to come because there were big waves and it was a risk. We ran into the water, going as fast as we can.
 There was lots of big waves but we had lots of fun splashing and floating up on the little ones. Lastly we walked all the way back to the car to pack up so we can go home. It made me really tired.

My Puppies

Cool! I have some pet puppies! Do you own any? 

Corky and Nami are my pet puppies.
Corky is dark brown with white spots, and Nami is just pure white. 
Corky is very fat while Nami is thin.

 Corky is very furry and has brown eyes and Nami is really fluffy and her eyes look different because one eye is black and the other has whitete and black. 

Nami eats puppy food while Corky gets dog food. Corky is very happy but sometimes he can get angry and bark at you. Nami is always happy because she has a happy mood every day. 

I love them because when we come home, they greet us happily.

Popular pets in Room 5L

The most popular pets were turtles in Room 5L.  They were popular because they can have different patterns and they also have a hard shell on their back. 17 students had turtles as their favorite pet. This was closely followed by the dogs. 16 students chose dogs as their favorite pet. The least popular was birds because they can fly away, they make a mess on the ground because their seeds can drop on the floor and you can't cuddle a bird. Only 9 students like them as their favorite pet.

My Holiday- by Kevin

Yesterday my family and I went to the Museum. We looked at all the things and dresses that people had created. I saw stairs that went up to the second floor. There was an open space, but we moved further inside the Museum.

  Then we saw an exhibit about shells, animals and a tiny shell's lifeline of growing into a big shell. Before long I found a passage leading into the Ocean exhibit. Inside there were turtles, The Great White shark, a Mako shark, more dangerous sharks and lots of fishes. I thought I would get lost.

 Another passage leads to the Volcano exhibit. There was 3 different types of rock from volcanoes and there was rock gongs that people made!  Also there was a simulation about the biggest volcano's eruption. It was scary. I thought it was a real eruption.

 Lastly we went  to the car park to go home. I was really tired from walking up, down, left,  right and backwards.
