Our Golden Bay will be protected for the future!

We are using De Bono’s six thinking hats to help us develop our critical thinking skills.

What suggestions and ideas do we have?
What are the key facts?
Can we use the WCO to look after all our pools of water, so we can grow more plants to fight against global warming?

The Golden Bay Springs gets a WCO to protect it as it has clear water.

What are the good things about it?
How do we feel about it?
It helps to defend the New Zealand reputation.
It protects our water.

I feel happy, because it will help more plants to grow.

What things will we need to think about?
What problems might we have?
What kind of protection will the WCO provide?
Tourists might have things that could harm the springs, such as fizzy drinks and rubbish that they bring to the springs.

Learning intention: We are learning to develop our critical thinking skills.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I answer De Bono's Six Thinking Hats questions using information from the article 'Golden Bay springs gets water protection order.'
