Today I was given an array of snails. I had to work out the number of snails there was to figure out the answer of the array of snails. I use different strategies is to solve the problem. One of my strategy is skip counting by 5.

This is my second grouping within ten poster. I used 4 aqua blocks and 6 yellow ones  to make ten. I used a combination of numbers and words to create my sentences.

     This is my grouping within ten. Today I used blocks to make my grouping within ten. I used 3 blue blocks and 7 yellow blocks.

My Trapped Dog

Someone help! My dog Wade got caught in a hidden trap made of iron!

I called some road workers and tried to open the trap but it was made out of reinforced iron. It was really heavy because it was glued to some heavy weights. My dog whined a lot because the trap was locked shut.

 The road workers and I needed help so we rang some fire fighters to wash away the glue so we can lift up the trap and try to open the trap. The fire fighters washed away the glue and the road workers now lifted the trap and now we opened the trap to let my dog out. 

 Lastly, we ran back to the street where my house was, to rest. I was very exhausted from calling the road workers and the fire fighters to help my stuck dog.
